The Rotary Club of Farmville has established the first Interact Club in the Farmville area. What is Interact? In the simplest of terms, Interact is a Rotary Club for grades 9 - 12.
Interact is a great way to introduce youth to Rotary's motto of Service Above Self. They will do service projects of their choosing, as well as assisting the Rotary Club of Farmville with its service projects.
In addition to learning to be of service to others, Interact teaches high ethical standards. Interact members are expected to live by Rotary's Four Way Test* (see below).
The Interact meetings will often have Rotarians as guest speakers. Rotarians are business and professional leaders in the community.
Furthermore, Interact members learn practical skills. They can learn/improve their skills in leadership, public speaking, organization, time management, you name it. Also, membership will look very good on their job and college applications

If you have a child or grandchild in grade 9 - 12, or know anyone interested who may be interested in joining, please contact Kerby Moore at kerbymoore1@embarqmail.com
*The Four Way Test:
As Rotarians and Interacters, in all the things we say, think, or do, we ask ourselves these questions:
1. Is it the truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned?
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
